GRANTS PASS, Ore. - March 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Natural Merchants announces the arrival of three unique organic rosé wines from France and Austria that are sure to make a splash this spring.

Made with 100% organic grapes, the 2015 Les Hauts de Lagarde Bordeaux Rosé is a blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 2% Malbec. Its brilliant pink color and intense aromas of fruits, flowers and spices give this wine its unique character. Pair it with BBQ, spicy dishes, pork or grilled fish. SRP is $12.99.

The Demeter Certified Biodynamic Biokult Zweigelt Rosé of the Niederösterreich - Qualitätswein appellation is very appealing as a light and easy to understand rosé. Made of Austria's most widely grown red grape Zweigelt (pronounced TSVYE-gelt). Zweigelt is a red wine grape originating from a 19th century Austrian crossing of two older varietals, Blaufränkisch and St Laurent.Low residual sugar gives it a very pleasant appeal, and the rose color with slight violet hues is visually alluring. The taste is of light red fruit, strawberry & raspberry, with soft tannins. This is a good food wine, pairing well with pasta, light meals, risottos & cheese. SRP is $13.99.

Demeter Certified Biodynamic Biokult Rosé Secco of the Neusiedlersee appellation is made with 100% organic Pinot Noir. This beautiful sparkling wine has a nose of intense cherry, cherry blossoms, plums and flowers. It has a red berry bouquet, with a crisp, fresh fruit forward taste. This is a fantastic picnic or summer party wine. SRP is $16.99.

About the Winemakers

The family property of domane du Chateau de Lagarde has been built up over the years by successive generations. The Raymond family has a long history of growing wine, dating back to 1850. Today, in order to look after their heritage, they carry on using a special mixture of ancestral tradition and the most efficient technology. Located in the Entre-Deux-Mers, not far from Bordeaux, their wines have grown in the villages of Saint-Laurent-du-Bois, Saint-Martial, Saint-Felix de Conclude since medieval times.

The Michlichts family is one of the most creative and influential organic wine growing families in Austria. Headed by Werner and Angela Michlits, their products and production methods are revolutionary for the region. Notonly have they been able to understand and implement the use of non-trimmed vines in the region, but the use of biodynamic methods and the translation of these into new production standards are awe inspiring.
