National Van Lines, Inc. CEO Receives Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Service

March 23, 2016 - PRLog -- National Van Lines, Inc. is proud to announce that CEO, Maureen Beal has been awarded the MSI Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Service from the Moving & Storage Institute during the 97^th  AMSA (American Moving & Storage Association) Education Conference & Expo, in New Orleans, LA.

The Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Service is presented annually by the Moving & Storage Institute to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism and integrity and has made a significant contribution to the industry through technology, operations and sales innovation that led to industry growth and advancement. Recognized as a prestigious symbol of leadership, innovation, integrity and service, the award is given to an active AMSA member with at least 20 years of service in the moving and storage industry. Additionally, the winner must have enhanced the overall public image of the moving and storage industry through leadership within the community.

As the 3^rd generation CEO of National Van Lines, Maureen has served on the Board of Directors of AMSA for 20 years, and on its Government Traffic and Government Affairs Committees, striving to provide the highest quality of service to customers of the moving industry. As a supporter of AMPAC (American Moving & Storage Association Political Action Committee), Maureen fought for pro-moving and storage legislation, speaking before Congress on specific OSHA regulations that would have been dramatically detrimental to the moving and storage industry. Under Maureen's leadership, National Van Lines was named as a top 100 places to work in the Chicagoland area for the past four years.
