Capital Region Stonewall Democrats Endorsements

ENOLA, Pa. - March 29, 2016 - PRLog -- The Capital Region Stonewall Democrats members in good standing were surveyed and voted to endorse the following candidates in the April 26th Pennsylvania Primary Election.

PA House:
Christopher Cowan 88th
Kevin Schreiber 95th
Mike Sturla 96th
Dale Allen Hamby 100th
Patty Kim 103rd
Jody Rebarchek 104th
Ryan Collins 125th

PA Senate:
Greg Paulson 13th
Rob Teplitz 15th

Attorney General:
Joshua Shapiro

US Congress:
Michael Paul Marsicano 11th

US Senate:
Katie McGinty

Questionnaires were sent to the candidates and feedback was received regarding their position on LGBT issues. Based on the questionnaire responses and additional comments, the candidates met the criteria to earn an endorsement from Capital Region Stonewall Democrats.

The Executive Board surveyed members in good standing from March 23rd through March 28th.

"Our members have spoken and I am pleased to know that we have so many individuals running in this election that care about equality and members of our community," said, Ben Allatt, Chair, Capital Region Stonewall Democrats. Allatt continued to say, "It is so important to get out and vote and vote for those who champion the issues of equality and a more inclusive government."
