US Navy 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Class Petty Officers Crow Coins Lead The Way

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - March 31, 2016 - PRLog -- It has been said that the US Navy Chiefs are the backbone of the United States Navy. Especially if you ask a Chief. But what about the horses? What about the youthful and experienced leadership found among the First Class Petty Officers? What about the E-5's and the Second Class Petty Officers? What about the eager and developing leaders found within the 3rd Class Petty Officers? Ya know the ones that always seem to get dumped on with projects, tasks, orders and more. That is how they learn. That is how they becomes 2nd's and ultimately more.

We will never forget the hard work of the E-4, E-5 and E-6 Petty Officers that start their careers with getting pinned with a crow on their shoulder sleeve insignia. The crow it has been called shown perched above a Sailors chevrons and is due to historical and tradition but in reality they are Eagles.
