Critics Continue to Sing Praises of L'Opera Ristorante at Recent Awards

POMONA, Calif. - April 1, 2016 - PRLog -- For the 25th consecutive year, L'Opera Ristorante in Long Beach has walked away with top honors at the Southern California Restaurant Writers Awards.  Credited with reviving the then dilapidated downtown a quarter century ago, L'Opera was presented with the prestigious Golden Scepter 5-Star Award, the highest honor for food, service and ambiance.  Its expansive wine list and ever-evolving wine program earned the venerable Italian restaurant with the Golden Bacchus Award.  L'Opera, which has earned consistent praise from the organization since it opened its doors, was one of only 2 restaurants in Long Beach to be honored with both the Golden Scepter 5-Star and the Golden Bacchus awards, and one of only 5 Italian restaurants recognized in Southern California.
