By: Elliott Broidy Sugar Elliott Broidy served as executive producer for the independent film, 'Sugar." He joined the crew after meeting with Director Rotimi Rainwater, whose personal experiences with homelessness are the basis for the movie. As a philanthropist working hard to improve Los Angeles, Elliott Broidy was committed to the films support for homeless youth in his hometown of Los Angeles and throughout the country. "Sugar" Snake and Mongoose Elliott Broidy served as executive producer for the independent film, 'Snake and Mongoose." This film depicted the untold story of Southern California drag racers Don "The Snake" Prudhomme and Tom "The Mongoose" McEwen combining with corporate giants to change the face of sports and ultimately became the most famous rivalry in racing history. Broidy was always fascinated with the rivalry between the two racers so this was a natural project for him to be part of. Elliott Broidy graduated with an MBA from the USC Marshall School Business. He went on to start Broidy Capital Management in 1991. Broidy was appointed by Secretary Michael Chertoff to serve on the United States Homeland Security Advisory Council and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Police Foundation. Broidy was also appointed by the President to serve on the Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington. End
