The Center for Contemporary Art Summer Art Camp Registration Underway

BEDMINSTER, N.J. - April 13, 2016 - PRLog -- Summer art camp registration is currently underway at The Center for Contemporary Art. Ten weeks of summer art camp will be available for children ages five through teens. The Center will offer a one-week summer art camp for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs the week of July 18^th.

The Center's summer art camps are designed to stimulate creative expression through projects and activities. New projects are introduced each week. Students may register for as many weeks as they would like without repetition.All sessions are led by professional teaching artists. There will be a supervised lunch for full-day campers. Children interested in only coming for a morning session or afternoon session can register for half-day camps. This year, the tenth week of summer camp will be comprised of special one-day workshops for all ages in cartooning, which will be led by instructor Doug Baron.

A parent from last year stated, "My daughter loved it. She has asked to come back and take a class. The instructors were nice and helpful."

The Center is looking for volunteers to serve as summer camp aides. Aides must be 15 years of age or older and be able to work Monday-Friday for as many weeks as they choose. For more information please contact Hayley Trinkoff at htrinkoff@ccabedminster.org.
