Director Ruth Mcilroy explains why they switched "Prior to developing our e-commerce solutions on Shopify we predominantly built our stores using Wordpress and a variety of apps such as Woo-Commerce. These platforms are great and will continue to be great but many of our clients were looking for a quick turnaround which in turn leads to a lower develolpment cost. In addition many of our clients are start-ups with modest budgets so the ability to easily make updates and ongoing changes to the store was of real importance. To appease our clients it seemed that Shopify ticked all the boxes for the majority of our e-commerce projects. Once a store is setup Shopify updates are conducted with the minimum of fuss but it is the setup time that impressed us the most which means we are able to pass that value back to the customer in offering a much more affordable project cost"
