FERGHEART Announces "Homecoming Vinyl Release Party" Hosted by Award Winning Composer Paul TrubachikBy: FERGHEART The Oregon countryside and his Dad's old Yamaha guitar have morphed into the twenty-four- Independent's Day Podcast host Joe Armstrong notes that FERGHEART "coaxes warm, tremolo-drenched tones out of his vintage Gibson hollow body guitar that should provide a welcome anodyne in this hyper-connected world." FERGHEART will be joined by bassist Joel Gottschalk (Phillip Sayce) and drummer Anders Bergstrom (Rob Stroup) performing a set of original music from the 7" vinyl release including its title track "My Retro Weekend". Performing songs from his 2013 debut record "All Animals Are Sad After Sex", host Paul Trubachik's band will feature acclaimed Portland jazz pianist Dan Gaynor and drummer Dave Coniglio from 1939 Ensemble. Paul's work has been featured in film, web media, fundraisers, and national radio and television campaigns. His work in advertising has been continually recognized with back-to-back Telly awards for best music and use of music in advertising. Paul has written music for Obama For America 08/12, Human Rights First, The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, The Ad Council, and numerous progressive causes around the country. Dr. Soll opens the event with a solo acoustic set at 9pm.
