OTHER, N.Y. - April 19, 2016 - PRLog -- Visual Paradigm is a design and management tool designed for software development teams. It features requirements management, software design with UML, SysML, BPMN, ERD, DFD, code engineering, database engineering, hibernate, wireframe, etc. Version 13.1 of Visual Paradigm focuses mainly on improving its general usability. It includes over 30 new features and enhancements. The following lists out a summary of the new and enhanced features.

· Dash Menu
Place your more frequently used toolbar buttons into a single menu - the Dash menu.

· Compact Element Specification Window
Keep the specification window less crowded and focus on the important information.

· Re-Use Model Elements
Visualize existing model elements with the help of the quick completion list.

· Adhere User Stories to Any Diagrams
User stories can now be written in any diagram. You can relate user's concerns with your design visually.

· Multiple Use Case Diagrams in UeXceler
Represent use cases in different diagrams based on different contexts.

· Improved Diagram Switcher
The improved diagram switch now support more diagram and editor types, allowing you to fluently switch back and forth between your designs.

· Visualize and Generate Amazon Redshift DB
Reverse engineer ERD from Amazon Redshift database. Generate or patch Amazon Redshift database from an ERD.

· Enhanced Wireframe Preview
While using UeXceler Web you can now preview wireframes with more navigation control and image size control.

· One-Click Generation from EPC to RACI
Besides generating RACI from a business process diagram (BPD), you can now generate RACI from an EPC diagram.

· Browsing Referenced Projects' Model Elements
Project Browser has been enhanced to support the browsing of model elements in referenced projects.

· Set New Tasks' Due Date in Task Pool
Set a default due date for tasks to be created in task pool. You can set a fixed date or a duration.

· Due Date Reminder (Tasifier)
Select when you would like to be notified before due date. Or set a custom number of days before the due date you want to be notified.

· Made the extension pane in user story scenario shown upon request

· Improved SCXML support

· Supported opening different kinds of links in the Open Project window

· Supported sorting use cases in UeXceler

· Supported PATCH method in REST API

· Supported inserting statement control in user story scenario via completion popup

· Supported creating UeXceler use case from BPMN task through Model Transitor

· Supported transiting to model elements in addition to diagram elements

· Supported reversing stored procedures and triggers from DDL to ERD

· Improved general application performance by 20%

· Reduced memory usage by 10%

· Faster commit speed when dealing with a large number of Teamwork File changes

· Supported exporting team members' details as .csv, from Teamwork Server admin.

· Supported setting tags to multiple tasks in Tasifier

· Supported more intuitive behavior for adding storyboard into user story

· Removed use case statements to avoid confusion

· Improved the positioning of callout shapes' captions

· Supported adding buttons to toolbar via open API

· Supported adjusting memory settings without admin permission

· Improved branch connectors' layout in mind mapping diagram
