Barbara Kophamer of RE/MAX Sauk Valley, Sterling, Honored for 2015 Sales Achievement

CHICAGO - April 19, 2016 - PRLog -- Barbara Kophamer of RE/MAX Sauk Valley in Sterling, Ill., recently was honored by the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network at its 39th Annual Awards Ceremony.  She received the award that goes to the broker working in a small market area who closes the most transactions during the prior year. In 2015, Kophamer completed sales representing 84 transaction sides.

"It's the most transactions I've ever had in a single year," said Kophamer, a resident of Morrison, Ill., who has been a real estate agent for 33 years and joined RE/MAX in 2003. She said her record total of transactions consisted of nearly an equal number of listings, where she represented the seller, and sales in which she represented the buyer.

"I did analyze the results, and no single factor seemed to account for making it such a busy year," she explained. "What amazes me is that I was able to do all that and still fit in hip replacement surgery."

Kophamer has been actively involved in her community with many organizations and causes, including the Morrison Community Hospital and the Sauk Valley Association of Realtors Board of Directors.
