By: Stefilia's Little Stones This energetic, Boston based duo is also known in the local Coffeehouse circuit as Stefilia's Stone. Stefilia's Little Stones is the kid's musical offspring of the original duo, and they've been delighting the younger set of music lovers with their easily sung, toe tapping originals and fresh remakes of songs kids love for a few years now before releasing this fan-requested original children's music CD "Let it Shine!" Their kid's CD can be described as creative songs for kids that inspire. "This is a very exciting and rewarding project for us. Tons of our fan families have been asking us for a cd they can take home and enjoy with their children and now we have a beautiful collection of what makes us special", says Ghilani. It's not always easy to find the time to get back into the studio as busy Mom's, teachers and entrepreneurs the duo says. "Making the CD was pure joy for us and we are already buzzing about new and inspired song ideas for the followup CD", bursts Rowan. They have been celebrating stellar sales results on Amazon as the #1 New Release in Children's Educational Music since the end of January. They are tickled pink about the slew of excited new fans from all over the country and a plethora of positive reviews to boot! "We truly appreciate the influx of new families that are loving our Let it Shine CD. It's so much fun reading the stories they share about their children's reaction to the CD", the duo beams. When asked what their secret to their quick success in CD sales is, Rowan humbly comments that she gained the skill set and knowledge last year when she launched her own private label company on Amazon. Stefilia's Little Stones believes in giving back to the community and to organizations that support children. They will be playing a concert as part of the annual fundraiser for a special education school in Boston this spring. They often raise money for donations to local charities in lieu of charging for admission. The official CD Release tour starts at Nativity Nursery School in Northboro, MA on April 30th at 10:30am. Followed up by another release on May 7, 2015 at 10:30am at Amazing Things Arts Center in Framingham, MA. "We can hardly wait to have all our joyful little listeners singing and dancing with us to celebrate the release of our 10 new fledglings", comments Ghilani. The two women equate making a CD to bringing new life into the world. Their songs are more than just catchy melodies, they also contain positive messages to inspire children and increase emotional intelligence. They sing about everyday Mom stuff like applying Bug Spray and sunblock, to saying Oh Well when life doesn't go their way. A long time crowd favorite, Bee Kind is a story about how the bees have a secret to be kind to one another and spread their beauty all around". There are also songs about Rainbows and Birthdays. "We love when kids pick up on the messages and make a connection to their everyday life. My daughter will remind me at times, 'Hey Mom, Oh well...too bad that happened'. Nothing like your children to give you a spoonful of your own medicine when you need it", giggles Rowan. There is one cover song called Branching Out on the CD written by famed folkie John Gorka, that the duo had fun putting their feminine, harmonic spin on. During their CD release tour, Stefilia's Little Stones will be donating a portion of all CD sales to Healing Little Hearts, a family run, local charity that raises money to fund state of the art pediatric cardiac research at Children's Hospital Boston.
