Follow on Google News | Ajyal International School launches The Ajyal Zayed Scholarship ProgrammeBy: Ajyal International School Speaking at the launch, Mr. Nasser Mohammed Bin Omeir, Vice chairman BOEF, highlighted the Foundation's commitment to the development of a skilled workforce in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, capable of embracing the challenges of the 21st Century which lie ahead. "Education is a fundamental element for the development of a nation and the best investment in its youth. In line with our UAE's 2021 national agenda we aim to elevate the rank of our students among the best in the world in reading, mathematics and science in addition to forging our national identity from within." said Mr. Nasser Mohammed Bin Omeir. "The Ajyal International School Scholarship Program aims to encourage and recognize students in their pursuit of excellence and to encourage diversity among applicants, building awareness of the value and rewards associated with careers in science and technology. It is intended to provide students with the financial support to further pursue their education as well as reward achievement and effort.", added Mr. Nasser Mohammed Bin Omeir. Mr. Adrian May, Principal of Ajyal International School, shared his hopes for the scholarship programme, "Students who have demonstrated exemplary conduct and consistent high academic performance in all subjects should be rewarded for their commitment to their education, while also nurtured and motivated to achieve the highest standards possible. Our programme is designed to provide these students with the financial support to allow them to achieve their dreams." The scholarship programme is open to students of Grades 7 to 10 and is based on their outstanding academic performance, work ethics and participation in the school community.
