Neos - The Insurance Reimagined

LONDON - April 29, 2016 - PRLog -- London, UK: Today, Neos Ventures Ltd. announced the launch of their new smart home insurance proposition to customers in the UK.

The brainchild of leading experts in both home insurance and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, Neos seeks to address a fundamental drawback of traditional insurance models: there are some things that even the most generous insurance pay-out can't replace.

Neos combines a conventional insurance policy with "smart" technology such as security cameras, connected smoke alarms and water leak sensors in an attempt to prevent incidents outright, as well as covering homeowners against damage should the worst come to pass. An accompanying smartphone app lets homeowners check up on their home (or their policy) from wherever they are.

The package also includes round-the-clock monitoring from the Neos emergency assistance team, who can call homeowners to warn them if something is amiss - or even directly book a tradesman to rectify the problem. Neos hopes this holistic approach will appeal to consumers and underwriters alike; protecting the homes and possessions of the former, while reducing claims overheads for the latter.
