BP Auto Spares India Speaks About the New Subcompact SUV from Tata Motors - The Tata Nexon

Coming to the technical aspect, he says, "The car is expected to have both the powertrain options - 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel motor. While the petrol variant is capable of producing 89bhp of power and 140 Nm of torque, the diesel motor can generate 108 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. With 200mm of high ground clearance, the SUV is adept at traversing on all types of Indian terrains."

Speaking about the competition it will have to face, he says, "Once launched, the Nexon will compete with the likes of Ford EcoSport, Mahindra TUV 300, and Maruti Vitara Brezza. However, what sets it apart from its rivals is its futuristic design and premium looks."
