Follow on Google News | Senator Daylin Leach Joins Sacks Weston Diamond LLCSenator Daylin Leach Has Recently Joined Sacks Weston Diamond LLC - a Philadelphia-Based Law Firm Practicing Since 1984
Having served as a public servant in both the Pennsylvania State General Assembly and Senate, Attorney Leach has most recently served as the Democratic Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee and a member of the State Government, Policy, Education, Environmental Resources & Energy and Appropriations. Throughout his time in public office, he has done considerable work for marriage equality, environmental stewardship, campaign finance reform and civil rights, earning a reputation as a leading progressive voice in the Pennsylvania legislature. His most notable accomplishments include fighting for state-funded breast and ovarian cancer screening for low-income women, as well as co-authoring the recent 2016 bill legalizing marijuana for medicinal use in Pennsylvania. Prior to entering politics, Leach served as a private legal practitioner for 17 years focusing on personal injury, constitutional, corporate, criminal, corporate, and appellate litigation. He graduated from Temple University and University of Houston Law Center, as well as Harvard's Kennedy School of Government Legislative Training Program. He is also a Flemming Fellow of the Arthur S. Flemming Fellows Association. Senator Leach has long resisted joining a law firm during his time in public office due to a desire to spend his little free time with his family. Now that his young children have grown, Daylin looks forward to re-entering the field of practicing law in a part-time of-counsel capacity. Given Sacks Weston Diamond's similar values and history of representing plaintiffs and successfully taking on big oil and tobacco companies, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical manufacturers, Daylin saw a perfect fit and decided to take advantage of the opportunity. Sacks Weston Diamond is a Philadelphia law firm which concentrates on handling class actions and qui tam cases, complex litigation, election law, medical marijuana and hemp law, personal injury and insurance subrogation law. Having secured more than $4 billion in client recoveries and more than 100 years of combined legal experience, Sacks Weston Diamond is glad to have Senator Leach join its ranks and look forward to his contributions to the firm's success.
