Lucky Tea Cafe Announces New Sushi Menu

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. - May 12, 2016 - PRLog -- Local tea shop and eatery, Lucky Tea Café is announcing the addition of sushi to their menu coming in June. Adding sushi isn't the only change coming the café. The popular spot in Grand Haven will now go by the name "Lucky Tea & Sushi Café." Located on S. Beacon Blvd. in Grand Haven, the business has been one of the first tea-exclusive cafés to open its doors in the area. The sushi menu will be adding to the already extensive list of loose-leaf teas, beverages, cuisine, and house-made bistro-style treats.

"Our primary goal is to help offer a unique and enjoyable experience for all of our guests at the café," states Rose Li, owner of Lucky Tea & Sushi Cafe. Li also owns and operates The Fortune Cookie, a popular Chinese restaurant among locals. "We are aware that there are other options available for sushi in the area, but know that our customers will see that we are providing a better product for a lower cost than the competition."

The menu will include popular and well-known options, such as a California Roll; which consists of cucumber, crab, and avocado, and a spicy tuna roll for just $5.50. They also include house-made creations, such as the Lucky Sushi Roll; that includes spicy tuna, yellowtail salmon, avocado, scallop, jalapeño, tabiko, and masago for $14.95. In addition to rolls, they also offer vegetarian options, salads, meal specials, and more. The cafe will still offer the original menu of lunch and dinner offerings like wraps, sandwiches, salads and soups as well.

The addition of a sushi bar and some small changes to the design layout of the café are coming soon as well. "Our hope is to have the renovations in the café complete soon," shares Li. "Sushi will be available to order for take-out or dining-in beginning around mid-June."

Lucky Tea & Sushi Cafe has also launched a new website with the full sushi menu, lunch and dessert menu listed.

ABOUT LUCKY TEA & SUSHI CAFÉ: Located at 1705 South Beacon Blvd. in Grand Haven, Lucky Tea Café opened in February of 2015. Known in the area for their unique tea based drinks and loose-leaf teas, the café also offers a full sushi and lunch menu as well as house made bakery items.
