Pop Star Jahna Sebastian Produces Mother's Day Shoot that Inspires the #LilGoddess Art Challenge

NEW YORK - May 5, 2016 - PRLog -- Singer, songwriter, producer, and model Jahna Sebastian is a woman of many talents. Her passion for creativity and the love for her daughter and South Indian father inspired her to shoot an Asian themed photoshoot paying tribute and honor to her Indian roots. She also wanted the shoot to capture her close bond with her beautiful daughter Nicole to celebrate Mother's Day.  The photos reflect the real close bond she shares with her lovely daughter Nicole as mother and daughter. Ms. Sebastian's first part of the shoot consisted of three wardrobe changes with the garments being provided by designer Puneet Bhandal.

The photoshoot captured her love for her daughter Nicole as she is a real mother in every sense of the word. She is a full-time working mother who takes care of Nicole 7 days a week all by herself and brings her daughter with her on every project she works on.  Everything she did she did was done independemtly as she came to the UK completely alone and started life from scratch without any assistance from friends, family or a significant other as she was a refugee who came to London to escape persecution from her native homeland Russia.

She worked extremely hard for Nicole providing and attending to all her needs. Her hard work and dedication to her daughter enabled her to buy a house in cash to provide a roof over Nicole's head. She also took care of obtaining Nicole's citizenship without any family, friends, or significant other. Although it was costly and required Ms. Sebastian to make sacrifices she made sure she took care of it to provide Nicole all the liberties that comes with being a British citizen.

The shoot was held at photographer Maurice Sparrow's Castle Studios who is a frequent collaborator which whom she recently worked with for a shoot with designer A.P.A London. Of the many exquisite pieces that Puneet brought, Ms. Sebastian chose the purple pavada for Nicole because purple signifies creativity, wisdom, independence, and ambition all traits which well describes what type of woman Ms. Sebastian is and how she is raising her daughter to become.

The photoshoot captured her unique and close bond with Nicole and also channeled and paid homage to her father's Indian culture as mother and daughter. Her father is a proud South Indian Kerala.

The make up and hair styling was provided by KSAVI, mehndi (henna) on her and Nicole's hand was done by Sheli Rawal and the jewelry was provided by Anisha Rawal, Nishel Creations. Ms. Sebastian previously worked with KSAVI and Nishel Creations at SKY TV 805 Channel Venus TV 10th Anniversary on December 5, 2015, where she sang and modeled Indian garments by designer Tehxeeb London, jewelry by Nishel Creations and makeup by KSAVI on the runway.

Nicole is very fond of modeling and took some stunning pictures with photographer Maurice Sparrow. The purple pavada that Nicole wore in the mother's day themed photo shoot inspired the Lil Goddess art challenge which took place on Instagram for one week. Hundreds of artist from all around the world participated and submitted their works in paintings, drawings and so many other creative representations of the photo. Nicole was rendered an icon in the art world and received so much praise and support from the art community.

Nicole eventually chose Paul Daniels to win the challenge. There were no losers from the challenge because all the artist gained a lot of recognition, including a #Mish piano by @IAMARTLIFE and an amazing drawing by Russian artist from Ufa, Ainur Timergaliev. Ainur Timergaliev sent Ms. Sebastian the actual drawing and she has been taking it to galleries in London.  It has been given great reviews from the art community.  Another work by Ainur Timergaliev, portrait of 50 Cent is owned by 50 Cent himself. Ms. Sebastian will be releasing much more photos from the famed photo shoot. The pictures with Nicole created a wonderful celebration for Mother's Day.  There are more pictures with other garments from the one day shoot.
