RSM Taps Don Natenstedt to Lead Development of U.S. Service Center

CHICAGO - May 5, 2016 - PRLog -- RSM US LLP (RSM) - the nation's leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market - recently announced that Don Natenstedt, formerly West region managing partner for RSM US, will now lead the development team and implementation of the firm's business plan for a new U.S. domestic service center.

"Our national tax leadership team and other firm leaders have analyzed the benefits of a compliance service center, and feel that this approach offers advantages for both our clients and our professionals," said Jeff Johannesen, national tax leader for RSM US. "We anticipate the service center to be up-and-running in time for the winter 2017 tax season."

Natenstedt is a Certified Public Accountant and has more than 38 years of experience serving clients, with a focus on closely held entities and their owners in a variety of industries, including construction, manufacturing and transportation/logistics. Throughout his career, he has also assisted business owners with estate and tax planning matters. Natenstedt has held numberous leadership positions in the firm's upper Midwest economic unit (which encompasses five offices), led the integration of merged practices in Ohio and most recently led the firm's West region, which has grown exponentially over the past five years under his leadership.

Natenstedt graduated from Golden Gate University with a Master's degree in taxation, and the University of Nevada with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Natenstedt will continue to be based out of RSM's Irvine, California office at 18401 Von Karman Ave., Irvine, CA 92612.
