Comba Ice Hockey Team Wins the Championship of 2016 Mega Ice Hockey 5s

KOWLOON BAY, Hong Kong - May 10, 2016 - PRLog -- After the Comba Ice Hockey Team's 3 victories at the 2016 Mega Ice Hockey 5s tournament held last week held in Kowloon, Hong Kong, the team met Empire Gaggia in the semi-final, who also had a three-victory winning streak to reach the semi-final on May 6^th.  Comba Ice Hockey Team overcame Empire Gaggia with a 7-1 score to reach the finals held at 5.45pm on May 7^th where it will face Japan Tokyo Mavericks who reached the final stage on an unbeaten 4-0 win/loss record.

On the Final Day, Comba Ice Hockey Team faced aggressive attack from the Mavericks and conceded two points in the first part. In the second part, Comba Ice Hockey Team changed tactics with heavy offensive and rapid counterattacks to regain two points with strong audience reactions. In the third part, the game was swinging both ways with opportunities missed from both sides. At 2-2, the game went into extra time in a tense showdown: the extra time is 5 minutes with 3 players per team in a sudden death scenario! With ferocious speed, strength and aggression, Comba Ice Hockey Team won the day with a goal in the second minute. The audience erupted in rapturous applause and accolades as Comba Ice Hockey Team won the Asian B Group championship!
