DAYTON, Ohio - May 10, 2016 - PRLog -- UES Inc., a Science and Technology firm and 2015 R&D100 Award Finalist, announced that they will host the "Blood, Sweat and Tears II" Workshop on Wearable Human Performance Monitors, May 17-18, 2016, at the firm's Headquarters in Dayton, Ohio.

The workshop will focus on the application space for continuous human performance monitoring through the collection and analysis of bio-fluids, and will include a tour of the Air Force Research Laboratory's Flexible Electronics and Additive Manufacturing facilities, including the HUMAN and STRONG labs.

A stellar group of speakers from the US Olympic Committee, Mayo Clinic, muliple defense agencies, universities and industries, as well as the NBMC and UES, will explore wearable human performance monitors from the end user perspective.

Dr. Melanie Tomczak, Director of the Biological and Nanoscale Technologies Division at UES, and Board Member of the NBMC, shares her perspectives on wearables. "There are many institutions making concrete progress in this area. Events such as this workshop will enable us to share our findings on emerging sensor systems, and better understand customer interests as the R&D advances toward products."
