NEW YORK & SEATTLE - May 12, 2016 - PRLog -- The 10th Annual NIEA book awards named Grief Diaries: Surviving Loss by Suicide by Lynda Cheldelin Fell and Sharon Ehlers as a Finalist in this year's competition.

The national awards recognize outstanding authors and publishers who put their heart and soul into their work. Judged by literary experts, winners and finalists are determined based on writing and overall excellence of presentation.

"A high honor, books that are recognized as Finalists are in every way outstanding. We are proud to announce the winners and finalists whose books truly embody the excellence that this award was created to celebrate. We salute you all for your fine work," said NIEA president Ellen Reid.

Surviving Loss by Suicide is part of a 5-star nonfiction anthology Grief Diaries series created by international bestselling author and bereaved mother Lynda Cheldelin Fell, who lost her daughter in a car accident in 2009.

Dedicated to sharing true stories by ordinary people facing extraordinary challenges, the first eight books in the series were published last December. Catching the attention of organizations and individuals, the series has exploded to nearly 300 writers around the world. Now focusing on a variety of life challenges and losses, over 30 new Grief Diaries titles are scheduled to be added to the series this year.

Each Grief Diaries title is sold individually, and available by booksellers around the world.
