RideTime Emerging from over a Decade of Transit Info Experience

DENVER - May 17, 2016 - PRLog -- RideTime is the complete arrival time information platform. It enables transit agencies to provide their riders with official bus and train transit times via whitelabel voice IVRs, SMS and Mobile Apps.

RideTime came out of project called OnTime. The client wanted a way to deliver transit times to riders in more accommodating ways than the 511 automated phone system. OnTime provided the solution by giving riders arrival times through a mobile app and SMS text service. OnTime has served our Client and their ridership well for a number of years. With that success, we are excited to bring this platform to the wider market with the launch RideTime.

Ridetime is the culmination of a decade of work in public transit information systems. It brings together the many lessons of countless enterprise scale projects. We've focused our expertise on answering the ever-present question, "When is my bus coming?" RideTime enables midsized transit agencies to provide accurate transit times to their riders through three delivery channels:

·      Mobile App Onetap to find out when your bus or train is arriving. Save your favorite routes and stops. Get alerted on when you need to leave for a station. For iOS & Android.

·      Phone IVR Simple and fast automated system for when you voice is the easier and safer way to get transit times.

·      SMS Text Send a stop id to the RideTime sms number and immediately get the next three arrival times in reply. A lightweight method for those who do not have the app.

WhiteLabel: RideTime gives agencies the ability to customize brand elements throughout the system. They can make it their own, raise their public profile and take credit for providing a public service

ALaCarte Services: Most agencies already provide transit info through at least one of these three channels. Agencies need only activate the RideTime services they need. If they already provide an IVR service, they can just use and pay for SMS and Mobile App.

Tools to Manage Transit Data: All clients get a RideTime control panel. Manage transit data, edit schedules, and convey important bulletins. The control panel includes a GTFS editor as well as a public API for 3rd party integration.
