EstheticaMD Helps Raise Money for The Promise Foundation Through a Social Media Initiative

EstheticaMD, a high end cosmetic medicine and aesthetic practice and facial spa located in Englewood, NJ, announced today that they will be raising money in an effort to support Skin Cancer Awareness Month, through an exclusive social media campaign on Facebook and Instagram. EstheticaMD improves patients' quality of life, confidence, and overall sense of well-being through the highest-quality, effective and natural-looking age-reversing treatments. Through this campaign, EstheticaMD's mission is to help increase awareness and prevention for skin cancer while helping those who have been affected by this disease.

On May 20, 2016 at 8:00pm EST, EstheticaMD will post to social media to inform their followers about this initiative. Anyone who follows EstheticaMD on social media and engages with these posts, EstheticaMD will donate $5 for every person (up to $500) that provides a like, comment, and/or share towards this post.

100% of the proceeds that are raised through this social media campaign will be donated to the local Bergen County group, The Promise Foundation located in Ridgewood, NJ. The Promise Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to help those who have suffered from melanoma by utilizing resources and funds to help fight this disease. The Promise has a created a "Sun Safe Fun" educational program which reaches over 7,000 elementary and middle-school aged children. In addition, the foundation supports and manages various community-based initiatives including free skin cancer screenings, "lunch and learns" and health awareness fairs.

With 3.5 million cases in over 2 million people diagnosed annually, skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. Fortunately, skin cancer is also one of the most preventable forms of cancer.
