New Commitment of Traders Indicators for MetaTrader Platform

DarkMindFX introduces new indicator which allows users of MetaTrader 4 and 5 trading platforms viewing and using Commitment of Traders report in combined form. This report represents net positioning for such classes of market participants as Commercials, Non-Commercials and Speculators. The data is obtained directly from CFTC official sources and updated weekly. Net positioning of Commercial traders gives information about entities involved in the production, processing, or merchandising of a commodity, using futures contracts primarily for hedging. Non-Commercials are typically large banks, hedge funds and other large speculators. Speculators represent the small participants - also known as non-reportable positions.

COT Index Indicator

New indicators package from DarkMindFX also gives traders the possibility to build COT Index. This indicator converts net futures positions to a 0% -100% range.  It now reflects where the current or financial instrument net positions rank as a percentage of its range over the recent past data. It is possible to specify the window range in weeks used to calculate an index.
