By: Brimstone Music Group INC. This year's festival has exciting things in store and will be spiced up with a mix of old and new school rhythm and blues for every generation. Performances and talent scheduled include: Ginuwine, Dru Hill, Harold Melvin's Blue Notes, Con Funk Shun, T.K. Soul, Wilson Meadows, Bishop Bullwinkle, Brooklyn Tankard, Wade Brown and many more celebrity guest. Attendees will enjoy activities and vendors offering a variety of down home southern dishes, refreshments, novelties and arts and crafts. The concept for the festival ignited by Mr. Lee Parker of Brimstone Music Group, INC twenty-four years ago. Ever since the initial year the festival has continued to draw increasingly larger crowds, establishing itself as one of the premier events of Alabama. "We are over joyed to be celebrating our 24th year and uniting thousands to honor our troops and share in the heritage of rhythm and blues," states, Lee Parker, C.E.O., Brimstone INC. The gates will open Saturday, May 28th at 11:00am and Sunday, May 29th at 12:00pm. This year a portion of the proceeds from the festival will go to the Wounded Warrior Family Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps to impact the lives of our troops and their families.
