2016 24th Annual Memorial Day Music Festival Is Back Bigger Than Ever And Offering A Weekend To B

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - May 23, 2016 - PRLog -- The 24th Memorial Day Music Festival formally known as The Alabama "Down Home" Soul & Blues Festival is back by popular demand. The festival will return to Huntsville, Jaycee's Fairgrounds during Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 28th, 2016 - Sunday, May 29th, 2016.

This year's festival has exciting things in store and will be spiced up with a mix of old and new school rhythm and blues for every generation. Performances and talent scheduled include: Ginuwine, Dru Hill, Harold Melvin's Blue Notes, Con Funk Shun, T.K. Soul, Wilson Meadows, Bishop Bullwinkle, Brooklyn Tankard, Wade Brown and many more celebrity guest. Attendees will enjoy activities and vendors offering a variety of down home southern dishes, refreshments, novelties and arts and crafts.

The concept for the festival ignited by Mr. Lee Parker of Brimstone Music Group, INC twenty-four years ago. Ever since the initial year the festival has continued to draw increasingly larger crowds, establishing itself as one of the premier events of Alabama.
