Will Team Army be the fastest team for a second year?

ATLANTA - May 26, 2016 - PRLog -- Five teams representing America's military branches prepare to run 10 kilometers in the 2016 AJC Peachtree Road Race (http://www.atlantatrackclub.org/peachtree) on July 4^th in Atlanta.  Service members from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard will kick off the 47^th annual Fourth of July tradition by leading an estimated 60,000 runners through Atlanta.  Team Captains representing every branch are available for media interview and comment. United Military Care (http://www.unitedmilitarycare.org/) is proud to partner with the Atlanta Track Club (http://www.atlantatrackclub.org/) by coordinating the military runners and selling 100 charity bibs to raise funds (http://www.unitedmilitarycare.org/#!charity-store/cz12) marked for program assistance to struggling military families and veterans.  It is estimated over 32% of military families rely on food stamps every month and in a recent Blue Star Survey (https://bluestarfam.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/bsf_in...), the top 5 issues ranked as most concerning to military families included military pay and retirement benefits, high military suicide rate, and veteran employment.

In addition to caring for the service member, United Military Care also helps the spouse and military children with a variety of free programs to help strengthen all of Georgia's military families.
