Global Dough Selected to Open WPGC's "Birthday Bash" Concert

WASHINGTON - May 26, 2016 - PRLog -- DCTOP20 client DC Dough will be the featured opening act at WPGC 95.5's 17^th annual, star-studded Birthday Bash. "I'm staying grounded but it ain't really hit me yet," Dough says. "I'm super excited." The concert will be on June 9^th at the historic Howard Theatre, and will feature performances by Fat Joe, Desiigner, Young Greatness, Ro James and Tabi Bonney.

WPGC radio personality Tony Redz' audience voted for Dough to open Birthday Bash after hearing his new single "Summer Comin." The song calls out shady managers and music execs, and serves as a memo for artists to tighten up and make music of substance. "This jibber-jabber trend 'bout to run out," Dough says. "Y'all gonna have to step y'all bars up, 'cause real music is back."

Dough will perform "Summer Comin" at Birthday Bash, and he has some surprises in store. Dough's new project, Blasphemy 2: It Was Written, drops on Friday, June 24^th. The video for "Summer Comin" -- shot by Alex Acosta and produced by KrissiO -- debuts on WorldStar on Memorial Day.
