Singer/Songwriter T-Boz Launches New Production Company

LOS ANGELES - May 27, 2016 - PRLog -- Grammy Award-Winning singer and songwriter Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins of the pop trio, TLC has created her own production company, ATLA to venture into producing original programming for both Film and Television.

T-Boz has shifted to various forms of entertainment in her career. She and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas  teamed up on the reality-television series "R U the Girl?" in 2005. Watkins competed on "Celebrity Apprentice" in 2009 and appeared in a reality show about her own life, titled "Totally T-Boz", in 2013. She also gained experience as a producer, working on the comedy-drama film "ATL" (2006) and a 2013 TLC biopic called "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story" which aired on VH1.

ATLA's first project will include an urban teen musical film titled "What About Your Friends?" written and produced by Carlton Jordan (BET's #TheWestbrooks). The project is currently casting.

ATLA's current staff includes Kayo Watkins as Producer. Additional projects will also include Talent Executives Lila Brown and Richard Thorpe of Ella Bee Media Group as Producers.
