New service being offered in Ft. Myers, Florida to help concerned families of older drivers

FORT MYERS, Fla. - June 5, 2016 - PRLog -- Keeping Us Safe is proud to announce that Jewelyn Sims, RN, MSN, has successfully completed an intensive training program and is now certified as one of the Nation's "Beyond Driving with Dignity" Professionals.

Sims, a registered nurse since 1979, is also a Certified Case Manager and Life Care Aging Professional.  As well, she is the owner of Sunshine Aging Care Solutions, LLC., headquartered in Sanibel, Florida.  Sims will begin serving older drivers and their concerned families throughout the Ft. Myers, Sanibel and Captiva areas effective immediately.

Keeping Us Safe's "Beyond Driving with Dignity" professional certification program has been designed to equip Sims and other professionals throughout the United States with tools necessary to help older drivers and their families work through the complicated issue of age-related diminished driving skills.

Having received this certification, Sims is now well-suited to provide older drivers and their families with a very specific program that will help make decisions on how to keep the older driver safe.

Certification in the Beyond Driving with Dignity program is designed to be a common-sense approach to facilitate (and often times mediate!) rational, common-sense driving-related solutions based on tangible facts and personal observations.  The program is unique in that it allows the older driver to play an active role in the decision making process as it relates to his or her driving future.
