NEW YORK - June 12, 2016 - PRLog -- Reacting to the tragic execution of scores of innocent Americans in Orlando, Florida, Hasta la Vista EUROPE! author Col. Walter T. Richmond, who covered the hatred certain migrants have for LGBT people in his book, was very concerned that the real issue, the peril of the LGBT community at the hands of killers driven by religious beliefs, was being overshadowed by orchestrated issues about gun control.

"First," said Col. Richmond, "this is a real tragedy. Our prayers go out to the victims and their families. At the same time, I am certain that many victims only wished they had a gun to defend themselves with, as any true blue American would. And to claim that this vicious killer of Afghan ancestry could have somehow been stopped by stronger gun-control laws is as deceitful as it is ludicrous."

"Next, this tragedy is not so much about terror as it is about the institutional intolerance that many Muslim migrants harbor for the LGBT community. To claim anything else is subterfuge," said Col. Richmond.

To bolster his points, Col. Richmond pointed to his book that revealed that England's Founding Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain, Sir Iqbal Sacranie said "It (homosexuality) does not augur well in building the very foundations of society - stability, family relationships. And it is something we would certainly not, in any form, encourage the community to be involved in."

Richmond further provided many examples of violence aimed at LGBT community members and quoted the Washington Post that listed 10 Muslim countries where homosexuality was still currently punishable by death. "Areas from which these migrants come are steeped in intolerance and hatred. To think that this will end well, just because they are now living in the USA, is dangerously naïve," warned Richmond.

Saying he is very saddened to see Americans targeted, but not at all surprised, Col. Richmond added that, "I am not clear as to why so many people seem surprised. Maybe my book should be mandatory reading for politicians, law enforcement, and other public servants across the country so they can get a feel for what is headed this way. If you are awake, none of this would be surprising. And much of it could be avoided if we took the proper and necessary precautions."

Col. Walter T. Richmond details many more examples of the coming troubles in his book Hasta la vista Europe. For more information, visit http://www.asterhousepress.com/
