It appears Northwest Detroit is ideal for manufacturing start-ups. He left Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to create quality bicycles for commuters.

Detroit Bikes A-Type bicycle is valued at $699 and is solidly built with 4130 Chromoly Steel tubing that is stronger and lighter than standard steel to withstand diverse urban commuting environments. It has a custom designed rear rack built to carry up to 35 lbs and narrow tires featuring rust resistant stainless steel spokes and double walled alloy rims. vintage-styled riveted saddle makes urban riding is comfortable with extra padding and coils for cushioning
