Part 3 Of The Prestige Championship Tournament Preview

America's Most Liked Wrestling returns to the Southside Recreation Center in High Point, NC for the AML Wrestling Prestige Title Tournament this Sunday!

If the tournament itself weren't enough of a reason for fans to make sure they buy tickets for the event, this huge event will include an AML Wrestling Championship match AND the AML Wrestling debut of one of the most brilliant tactical wrestlers currently active, "Brutal" Bob Evans.

AML Wrestling Champion King Shane Williams has been a fighting champion since he defeated Greek God Papadon to win the strap a few months ago, and he may face his most unpredictable challenge yet, as the KING will defend the belt against Wildman Kongo in High Point.  The 350 pound Kongo is one of the biggest men Williams has faced in his career, and is certainly the largest man he's faced in AML competition.  Kongo has recently turned heads as a new member of the Ring of Honor roster, so fans will have to see if Kongo can defeat the master of the piledriver and his Queen Taylor (who can cause quite tie distraction on the outside). Can King Shane overcome a 125-pound weight disadvantage?  Can Kongo ride a methodical pace and physical dominance to AML Wrestling gold?  We will find out June 26!

"Brutal" Bob Evans, a 24-year wrestling veteran who has been a fixture in Ring of Honor for many years, will make his AML Wrestling debut when he faces one-half of the Dixon Line, the bearded brawler Ken Dixon.  A wrestler who is an accomplished trainer in his own right, Evans will look to turn the heads of AML brass in his first opportunity to do so.  Dixon is known for his tag team with Prestige tournament hopeful Joey Keys, but this match represents a rare opportunity to distinguish himself as a singles competitor.

Finally, AML Wrestling fans who bought Rows 1-3 will be able to see bonus matches from the Future Stars of AML Wrestling prior to the official TV taping!  The Future Stars of AML Wrestling are some of the best up and coming talents in the region fight competing for full time opportunities on the AML Wrestling roster.  Stars like Labron Kozone, James Ryan, Savannah Evans, Big John Z, "Boss Hogg," and JR Reynolds have been featured in matches in the past.

Doors open at 3pm for rows 1-3 who also get a BONUS match from the Future Stars of AML Wrestling, at 3:30pm for General Admission and bell time is 4pm.
