Nonprofit encourages supporters to 'Shop 'Till They Drop' at annual fundraiser

ST. LOUIS - June 23, 2016 - PRLog -- The Covering House, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing refuge and restoration to children and teens who are victims of sexual exploitation or trafficking, announces the Fifth Annual Shop 'Till You Drop event is scheduled for July 30, 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., at The Journey Church, Reber Basement, in St. Louis. Shop 'Till You Drop is one of the most popular events benefiting The Covering House, with over 150 attending last year.

Shop 'Till You Drop, a yard sale lover's dream, features music, snacks, and a free photo booth. Available items include women's clothing, accessories, shoes, books, movies, music, small housewares and children's clothing. From 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., attendees pay the $40 entry fee and can take an unlimited number of items. Shoppers arriving at 9:00 a.m. or later pay only $30 for entry.

Donations of gently used items will be accepted at school behind The Journey Church (Tower Grove location) July 23 between the 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., as well as July 28 and July 29, between 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Donations will be collected at The Journey Church West County location on July 24 between the 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. services.

The Covering House provides care in our long-term care facility and out-client services to underage girls rescued from domestic sex-trafficking.
