To signify the start of a new chapter for the Foundation, EGF unveils its new logo. The logo is a stylized representation of the EGF acronym, with the multicolored hands forming the letter E, and a green multi-structured leaf forming the letter G and F, all underneath a blue water droplet. The hands represent the volunteers of the Foundation, coming together from different backgrounds and orientations to help support communities all over the Philippines. The water droplet represents the commitment of the foundation to support the health, education, livelihood and preparedness needs of each community. Finally, the leaf represents the developing communities themselves as the foundation supports them to eventually become self-sufficient. "I'm very excited. This marks a new beginning for all of us at the foundation. I call on all civic-minded Filipinos to join us as we make this great leap forward." says EGF founding chairman Ronald Rodriguez. This marks the beginning of a renewed and revitalized EGF, with the promise of a more dynamic foundation to meet the needs of developing communities. The Exempli Gratia Foundation, is rooted in the Latin term Exempli Gratia which literally means "for the sake of example". It is a movement of ordinary individuals (mostly young professionals, entrepreneurs, and students) who are committed to sharing their passion, time, and resources in the service of helping communities.
