How to Throw a First Birthday for your Restaurant

After all it is a dual celebration, because the owner and Executive Chef, Bonny Porter, along with all Balls & Company diners, have long since forgotten their own first birthday.

The independent restaurant Balls & Company has brought couples, friends and colleagues together around a common love of simple food done well. This year has proven that by placing high importance on customer service and the provenance and quality of the food, restaurants can transcend their 'single-dish' status. So not unlike on your first birthday Balls & Company will be celebrating with cake. Quintessential Australian cake made with a not so typical twist. Australian born Porter is not giving away the secret menu item, as Porter says, "the more surprises, the better the birthday."
