Designer Antonella Commatteo and her Hollywood Fashion Team to Attend 60th Annual Miss Korea Pageant

LOS ANGELES - July 4, 2016 - PRLog -- The 60^th 2016 MISS KOREA PAGEANT will hold its annual contest on Friday, July 8^th, 2016 at the stunning Grand Peace Palace at Kyung Hee University, Seoul, Korea, at 7:30 p.m. International Judge Grace Moon and the Miss Korea Organization have extended an invitation to Antonella Commatteo and her fashion team as honorary VIP guests to attend the historic event. Shares the MISS KOREA PAGEANT in their exclusive invitation: "We are excited and honored to have you with us to celebrate this milestone in Korean beauty pageant history."

Miss Korea boasts a 60 year history and tradition of representing Korean beauty. Winners of the pageant are considered national celebrities as they represent the nation of Korea in international pageants like Miss Universe. The MISS KOREA PAGEANT is an incredible tradition and honor not only for participants but also in the hearts of all Koreans.

The beautiful and talented Commatteo, recently a featured designer in fashion shows at the exclusive 424 Beverly Drive venue in Beverly Hills 90210 and Art Hearts Fashions' Los Angeles Fashion Week at the Taglyan Complex in Hollywood, often brings her life to the runway while showing her collections. She earned the title of Fashion Week Las Vegas 2014 Best Men's Designer, and Social Media Winner, and her garments were featured in the Snoop Dogg & Pharrell video, 'Peaches n Cream'.

As a seasoned and decorated designer, featured in numerous magazines including Avant Garde, RAGE, Sir Jones New York, Shimmer, 10Ten, LA Fashion Magazine and more, Commatteo was also featured in the New York Times. She looks to reflect today's culture into one's lifestyle while validating freedom for individuals to self-identify. On the Miss Korea pageant VIP red carpet this week, Commatteo will be revealing a gown she designed exclusively for the pageant event, made from a lush white fabric created by Korean fabric maker GTC. She comments, "I see fashion as a form of identifying or a stylised form of outer expression of oneself. I believe that everyone should have the ability to express their true selves through what they wear and how they wear it." Her hopes with this new line, whose details remain a guarded secret until the launch, is to "accomplish awareness" for those unaware of the implications of the problem she is addressing through her fashion. My goals for this line, stemming from my experience and belief, are to bring out a totally new aesthetic and to bring new attitudes to design that have never before been seen, giving people new forms of expression and the opportunity to experiment with the theme, 'Fashion that lets you be who you are'." Commatteo's overall goal is to individualize and create a buying experience for the day-to-day needs of the niche market her line will serve.
