Don Quijote Restaurante to host wine pairing to benefit VNA Phoenix Center

VALPARAISO, Ind. - July 6, 2016 - PRLog -- On Sunday, April 10^th, Carlos Rivera and Elena Jambrina of Don Quijote Restaurante will guide guests through the cuisine and wines of Spain. Proceeds from the dinner will help the Visiting Nurse Association continue to provide grief support for children and their families at the VNA Phoenix Center.

Cost for the elegant evening of extraordinary food and wine is $100 per person and includes both the dinner and wines. The wines sampled during the evening will also be available for purchase following the dinner. A full cash bar is also available.

The dinner will begin at 4 pm at Don Quijote Restaurante, located at 119 E. Lincolnway in Valparaiso. Pre-registration by April 4^th for the event is required.

The VNA Phoenix Center is a program of the Visiting Nurse Association of Porter County, providing peer support for grieving children and their families. The VNA Phoenix Center is staffed by specially trained volunteers who facilitate age-appropriate, regularly scheduled peer support sessions and activities. The interaction of the children and volunteers, and the sharing of common experiences and feelings with their peers are life changing. Child to child, they encourage and support each other as their broken hearts mend.

Thanks to community support and the volunteer staff, the VNA is able to offer the program free of charge to any family in the community grieving the loss of someone special.
