Daring Dancers Leap From Cars in New Dance Film Woman Versus

Dancers leap, fall, crash, and smash their bodies while telling a compelling story about oppression

NEW YORK - July 6, 2016 - PRLog -- They leap from moving cars. They leap onto cars. They collapse on the hard train platform.  Woman Versus is a new dance film from Director Justina Grayman, PhD, and Director of Photography Joseph Adcroft. Not only is it action-packed, but Woman Versus is a compelling story about women's struggles to accept or reject the power of the machines that seem to control them. The film starts as a group of women are waking up in a moving train. Conflict arises when some women realize the train is not headed where they want it to go. Appropriately released on July 4th, the film challenges the viewer to consider: What is freedom? What is controlling us? And will we survive if we fight the machines? Ultimately, the film addresses several controversial topics including indoctrination, patriotism, militarism, religiosity, social movements, and liberation.
