Comic Book Artist Gabriel Lamberty Publishes New Independent Comic Book Series 'Speed Demonz'

ELIZABETH, N.J. - July 7, 2016 - PRLog -- From appearances in the blockbuster film Ted 2, to making appearances at every Comic Con gathering across America, comic book artist Gabriel Lamberty is on quite a noteworthy tour to present his independent comic book series 'Speed Demonz' to the world.

As a comic book artist, he has been published several times, with his latest comic release being "Speed Demonz - Night" - published by Angry Vikings Press. Lamberty was also the Marcom 2011 Gold Award winner for Logo and Webpage Design.

Most recently, he inked a new marketing & public relations deal with marketing solutions company Forbes Music Entertainment. The deal was intended to bring the budding comic book series "Speed Demonz" to a larger market; with a major focus being to land a movie deal in the near future.

In 2015, Lamberty and his comic books were featured in the Film "Ted 2" starring Mark Wahlberg, who plays Ted's best friend John. The "Speed Demonz" comic books made a very brief appearance in the Comic Con scene as Ted was chased through the pop culture event.

It was a very exciting time for Lamberty to see his work pay off. After all, he spent 8 years of his life and thousands of dollars creating his very first 'Speed Demonz' comic book.

As an independent comic book artist, Lamberty has found it very tough to land his book in major stores, but the artist has managed to make a believer out of major retailers Comixology (an Amazon Company) and Indy Planet. Both retailers have featured his 'Speed Demonz' comic in their catalog.

"When you're an independent comic book artist, you won't have it easy," said Lamberty about his experience so far in the comic book industry. "Smaller publishers will take on the task, but distributors are generally interested in the more established brands. Conversations with distributors generally won't last too long or go too well when you are independent."

Lamberty, however, does not plan to call off his pursuit of a career as an independent comic book artist. He still has every intention to continue his 2016 Comic Con tour, already scheduled to make appearances at the upcoming August 12 convention in Boston, the August 20 convention in Newark and the October 8 Comic Con in New York City.

Plans for the movie are still under way, but first the comic book artist plans to create an animated series based around the comic books. Lamberty has also launched a website dedicated to the comics called SpeedDemonz.net.
