Thomas Makes It Three Wins In Three Races

BURTON ON TRENT, U.K. - July 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Now in its 8th edition, the Le Mans Classic saw hundreds of cars and over one hundred thousand spectators descend onto the famous La Sarthe circuit in Le Mans, France. This year also saw a welcome return to Le Mans for Jaguar cars with a round of the Jaguar Classic Challenge which will took place on Saturday the 9th of July on the full 8.48 mile (13.65km) Le Mans circuit.

A record grid of 65 cars assembled for the Jaguar Classic Challenge race at the Le Mans Classic. Julian Thomas in his Jaguar E-Type Low Drag Coupe qualified in 2nd place. Thomas quickly moved into the lead and after the mandatory pit stop re-joined and extended his lead to win by 35 seconds. The win is the third consecutive victory for Thomas.

Winner Julian Thomas said: "I am over the moon. It's absolutely amazing to win at such an iconic circuit. Friday was my first time on the circuit at Le Mans. As I got to know it I became quicker and quicker. My E-Type was absolutely perfect and handled wonderfully in the race - thanks to my team for the expert preparation of it."
