Lisa Stein joins Lantern as Chief Operating Officer

NEW YORK - July 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Today, Lisa Stein joined Lantern Community Services as its new Chief Operating Officer. As a member of Lantern's Executive Team, Lisa will lead the organization's fiscal strategy, operations and leasing and compliance, serving over 2,000 supportive housing residents across the city.

Lisa said, "I'm thrilled to be joining Lantern at such an exciting time in the organization's development, and I'm looking forward to contributing my unique combination of programmatic and fiscal management experience to ensure the organization's continued growth over the coming years. This position will bring me full circle, as I began my career working for a homeless and housing services organization in the Bay Area. I'm now looking forward to being part of Lantern's important mission to provide supportive housing for some of the most vulnerable citizens here in New York City."

Lisa comes to Lantern from Seedco, where she has been the Vice President of Work and Family supports, providing program management and fiscal oversight for programs around the country. Previously, she served as the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer for STRIVE, a job development nonprofit, and before that she was the Executive Director of Recycle-A-Bicycle. Lisa has an MBA from Boston University and received her BA from Brandeis.
