Axiomtek's CAPA880 - a High Performance 3.5" SBC for Graphics-intensive Applications

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. - July 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Axiomtek, one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of innovative, high performance and reliable PC-based industrial computer products, is proud to announce the CAPA880- the company's newest 3.5" embedded motherboard designed to support LGA1150 socket 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 and Celeron® processors. This embedded motherboard features the Intel® integrated Gfx graphic engine to deliver dual view high resolution HD support for display interfaces: HDMI, LVDS and/or VGA. The CAPA880 is highly customizable and feature-rich, making it suitable for IoT/M2M-related applications, industrial control systems, digital signage, and more.

The CAPA880 also comes with a PCI Express Mini Card slot and a unique ZIO connector for an additional PCIe x1, USB 3.0, LPC and SMBus expansion buses, giving this SBC high expandability options to meet customer specific needs," said Product Manager Michelle Mi. "Additionally, the CAPA880 has options for three I/O boards, the AX93262, AX93285 and AX93291, which can provide system integrators with a less cabling solution for a lower total cost of ownership and a higher return on investment."

The high performance CAPA880 has advanced connectivity options including one RS-232/422/485 port with +5V/+12V power, one SATA-600 interface, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, HD audio, and 8-CH DIO. To ensure reliable operation, this 3.5" embedded SBC also supports watchdog timer and hardware monitoring.
