Gail Mancuso Awarded First Place In International Photography Competition

CHICAGO - July 13, 2016 - PRLog -- Gail Mancuso has received a First Place Award at the Moscow International Foto Awards (MIFA) for her work entitled, "New York Synchronicity," in the category of professional fine art collage.

Entries from 85 countries were judged by a panel of international photography experts, reviewing each piece on the basis of originality, creativity and excellence of execution. The award ceremony will be held July 20 at the Na Kashirke Gallery in Moscow, and "New York Synchronicity" will be on display through August 7. Additionally, Mancuso was awarded Bronze Winner for "Chicago Synchronicity," at the 2015 International Prix De La Photographie in Paris.

Her work draws inspiration from the streets of the world's most iconic cities, using a unique approach to color, light and layering to produce multi-image works that evoke the diversity, energy and beauty of urban life. Her work is part of private and public collections throughout the US, UK, and Italy.

She is represented by Hilton|Asmus Gallery in Chicago and Rotella Gallery in both Soho, New York City and Bellevue, Washington. Her work will be displayed at "Fragmented Identities," an upcoming exhibit that is part of the International Art and Architecture Festival, in Venice, Italy, August - September 2016.
