Cooperstown Environmental Employee Wins Scholarship for Environmental Education

ANDOVER, Mass. - July 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Cooperstown Environmental LLC, an environmental consulting firm based in Andover, Massachusetts, wishes to congratulate its employee, Eric Gulbicki, the 2016 recipient of the Licensed Site Professional Association (LSP) Scholarship. The purpose of the LSPA scholarships is to support continued education in the environmental field in Massachusetts and the New England Region. These scholarships are available to LSP Association members, members of their immediate families, or other Massachusetts residents who are pursuing studies consistent with becoming an LSP or Environmental Professional.

Eric is a North Reading resident and a rising senior at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire. He has been focused on obtaining his Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science and has an expected graduation in May 2017. Eric plans on using the scholarship funds in pursuing educational requirements necessary for eventual licensure as a Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional (LSP).

Eric has been a valuable team member at Cooperstown Environmental since the summer of 2015. At Cooperstown, Eric has gained valuable experience with a variety of consulting work including conducting field sampling of various environmental media, overseeing the installation of soil borings and monitoring wells, and removing underground storage tanks. In the office, Eric compiles sampling data and writes field work summaries that are incorporated into reports that are prepared on behalf of clients for submittal to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).

His enthusiasm and dedication to environmental remediation are exemplary. Cooperstown Environmental is very proud of Eric and wish him success as a future LSP!
