Bridge Atlanta To Host Special Two Day Back-to-school Event

NORCROSS, Ga. - July 18, 2016 - PRLog -- With the 2016-2017 academic school year right around the corner, Bridge Atlanta Medical Center, which provides affordable primary and specialty healthcare for uninsured and underserved individuals and families in a Christian faith-based environment, will host a special two day back-to-school event prior to its September 13th opening. On July 23rd and 30th from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Bridge Atlanta will conduct $49 back-to-school health screenings and sports physicals for children at its facility located at 4864 Jimmy Carter Boulevard, Suite # 203 in Norcross, Georgia (just past Rockbridge Road, one block from Walmart).

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a lot can change in a child's health within a year. An annual health screening ensures that he or she is up to date on vaccines to protect against serious diseases. Safeguarding a child's health as well as the health of classmates, friends and others in the community is a top priority for doctors and school administrators. Yearly health screenings allow a child to have a complete examination of his or her growth and development in order to prevent problems, bring attention to what is being done well and address changes that can improve the child's wellness.
