COMIX Mohegan Sun Presents Brian Posehn for Three Nights, Four Shows August 18-20

UNCASVILLE, Conn. - July 19, 2016 - PRLog -- Comedian, writer and actor Brian Posehn takes the COMIX Mohegan Sun stage for three nights, four performances, Thurs.-Sat. August 18-20 at 8 p.m., ending with a special "Nasty Show" on Saturday at 10:30 p.m. Brian's COMIX shows coincide with his appearance at TERRIFICON, Connecticut's comic and sci-fi convention for fans of comic books and their creators, actors, films & television programs, pop-culture memorabilia, gaming, and cosplay being hosted August 19-21 at Mohegan Sun.

Brian was a writer for a series of MARVEL'S DEADPOOL comics, now a major motion picture grossing more than $500 million at the box office.

Brian always has a full plate in front of him, whether he is touring the nation's best comedy venues or writing and acting for movies and TV.  In 2013 he released his first hour-long special, THE FARTIST, on NETFLIX. He has a popular podcast, NERD POKER, on the EARWOLF NETWORK.

Brian starred in three seasons of and wrote episodes for COMEDY CENTRAL'S THE SARAH SILVERMAN PROGRAM and toured as one of the original members of THE COMEDIANS OF COMEDY. He has written for the popular sketch show HUMAN GIANT as well as various specials and roasts including some stints on THE OSCARS and THE COMEDY CENTRAL ROAST OF ROSEANNE BARR.

Besides writing and performing on HBO's acclaimed MR. SHOW, Brian has appeared in guest spots on several sitcoms including THE BIG BANG THEORY, GUYS WITH KIDS and ANGER MANAGEMENT. In the past, he appeared on JUST SHOOT ME, SEINFELD, NEWSRADIO, CALIFORNICATION, EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND and FRIENDS.

He has appeared in several movies, including the Judd Apatow film THE FIVE-YEAR ENGAGEMENT with Jason Segel, the popular Canadian indie comedy, LLOYD THE CONQUEROR, as well as FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER, SEX DRIVE, ROB ZOMBIE'S THE DEVIL'S REJECTS and SURF'S UP.

He has also showcased his vocal talents in several animated shows including AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE, MISSION HILL, ADVENTURE TIME, METALOCAPLYPSE, BOB'S BURGERS and AMERICAN DAD.

In 2006, Brian released his first graphic novel, THE LAST CHRISTMAS, and his debut comedy album LIVE IN NERD RAGE. He followed this album up with the release of FART AND WEINER JOKES in 2009 and HOLLYWOOD SAID NO, book he co-wrote with Brian and Bob Odenkirk and David Cross in 2013. He is currently producing a comedy metal album with Scott Ian of Anthrax.
