Majority of Industry Using Passive Containers to Ship Controlled Room Temperature Pharmaceuticals

READING, U.K. - July 25, 2016 - PRLog -- The European Union published updated regulatory guidance for Good Distribution Practice in March 2013, of which the biggest change was to require temperature data and auditing of 'ambient' or 'controlled room temperature' (CRT) product shipments. This came as an unprecedented change to the industry, with these products previously being assumed safe without the need for monitoring

The guidelines affected a significant proportion of the industry and TOWER's recent research programme shows that almost half of the industry's shipments are at least 50% CRT products. 13% of the industry actually deals only with CRT shipments
