Animal Defenders International teams up with Kind Traveler to help animals in need

Visitors to the new site can learn about the organization's life-saving work including their latest rescue mission in South America. During an 18-month operation in Peru, ADI raided illegal circuses and rescued every animal, working with the authorities to enforce a ban on wild animal acts. Known as Operation Spirit of Freedom, support on wildlife trafficking enforcement was also provided. Over 100 animals were saved and nursed back to health during the mission, with native species relocated to forever homes in Peru, 33 lions airlifted to sanctuary in Africa and a tiger to Florida.
