Ghana: Nka Foundation invites participants worldwide to GHANA TOWN PLANNING WORKSHOP

ABETENIM, Ghana - Aug. 4, 2016 - PRLog -- The town planning workshop will kick off with site-specific tours of Abetenim and regional sites to create a general plan for Abetenim as a future township. The team will break into two groups to conduct site analysis and draw the masterplan for the Senior Secondary School and a masterplan for the Abetenim Arts Village.

Join us! And bring your best practices and tools for planning a rural community for sustainable development!  Most evenings will be used for reviewing workshop progress along with informal discussions and digital presentations of portfolios by workshop leaders and international participants. The workshop will end with a Community Day, a public celebration of the completed project by way of open house exhibition of the products of the workshop, public performances, and foods.

WHERE: Abetenim near Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana
